Popular questions
How do event contracts pay out?+
Every contract settles at $1 if the outcome occurs, and $0 if it doesn't. Your profit is the difference between what you paid and the settlement value. You can also sell before settlement at the current market price.
How long do deposits take?+
Debit card deposits are instant. ACH transfers typically arrive the same business day but can take up to 2 days depending on your bank.
When can I withdraw?+
Any time your funds aren't backing open positions or resting orders. Withdrawals are reviewed within one business day, and ACH withdrawals are free.
What happens if a market's outcome is disputed?+
Each market names its settlement source before trading opens. If the source is ambiguous or revised, the market rules committee resolves it under the rulebook's settlement procedures, and the resolution is published.
Is my money insured?+
Member funds are held in segregated accounts at regulated US banks. Segregation means your balance is never used for exchange operations — but trading losses are not insured.
How do I close my account?+
Settle or close your open positions, withdraw your balance, then request closure from Settings. Regulated record-keeping means we retain certain records after closure.
